TRANSPARENCY

Ethical

All products are ethically handmade in the UK. Prices reflect the cost of paying a living wage and using high quality materials. To support our local community, we try to purchase materials from other small sellers where possible.

Inclusive

Most of our items are made to your exact measurements, meaning we can accommodate any size and height. We hope to expand our size range in even further the future. Examples:

  • Size range: custom dresses up to waist 125cm (can accommodate larger size but get in touch before purchasing), currently working on a size 3XL/4XL for the bloomers

  • Sensory issues: cotton fabrics, construction is almost always seamless, no exposed elastics against the skin* and items are lined etc.

  • Petite or Tall: can do any length for dresses or inseam for shorts

  • Large vs Small Bust: can accommodate a large cup size or even alter the pattern to fit a post-mastectomy chest

  • Weight fluctuations/Bloating: please add this adjustable corset to your dress.

*Construction for most items is seamless on the inside with no exposed elastics to avoid them being itchy. Only exception is items with shirring details, a thin elastic thread is used in that case but is not itchy at all (e.g., on bloomers). Additional charges may apply when requesting custom fabrics.

Sustainable

We incorporate sustainability into our brand by operating in a slow-fashion model.

The majority of our items are made-to-order to reduce waste. Our materials are bought in small quantities and are often deadstock or vintage.

When it comes to packaging, our items are gently wrapped in tissue paper and tied with a ribbon. Most of our orders come in cardboard boxes and placed in a plastic mailer bag to protect it from rain. We hope to use alternatives to plastic in the future.

We try our best to reduce waste by reusing fabric remnants to create unique pieces or donating our fabric remnants.
